Work in the community
Kadans is a long-term investor and an active participant in the communities that we operate. In developing an inclusive innovation district, the Tileyard Quarter will encourage social interaction and sign post opportunities throughout the design, construction and on-going operation of the various projects.

Since the purchase of the four sites, we have been proactive in looking to build relationships with the local community.
We have met and are currently exploring partnerships with a number of key local stakeholders. This includes: Robert Blair Primary School, Business for Islington Giving Alliance and the Cally Group.
Robert Blair Primary School
Building a collaborative partnership with Robert Blair Primary School Head Teacher, Michelle Bahn
A design construction workshop at Rober Blair Primary School. The workshop was led by our construction contractors, Morgan Sindall on 5-10 Brandon Road.
Dragons Den workshop
We were delighted to support a Dragons Den workshop at Highbury Grove Academy, organised by Inspire Education Business Partnership.
We had the task of judging business ideas put together by Year 10 students, as part of their work experience week.
All students delivered fantastic presentations and it was evident to see the amount of research carried out by students as they all came up with original and creative ideas.
The Cally Festival
We most recently attended and sponsored the Cally Festival. The annual festival took place on 2 July 2023.
The festival celebrates everything the Caledonian Road area has to offer. Each year, for one day, the festival takes over with roads closing and over 7000 people coming together to throw a huge party in it. To find out more about the Cally Festival visit their website here.
